We are so excited about 3 things. First of all, we had some precious souls added to the Kingdom since last newsletter. There is no feeling quite like seeing a person respond to the Gospel in song and make a dedication to the Lord and ask forgiveness for their sins. That is a natural high! We were singing for the Eddy's in Jacksonville, TX at the 1st A/G and had a wonderful service. 3 raised their hands for salvation and 2 backsliders prayed. We were so thrilled. This is a break through for us since Brent left. Satan can talk and discourage us and make us think we are not helping anyone, then WHAM! God shows up and shows the old liar (and us) who is BOSS! We loved seeing souls saved and want it to happen every service . The second thing there have been so many sweet comments on our new CD. Again, we felt less than confident without the 3rd person, but I think God got in this as well and has brought some mighty blessings to folks through this CD. We feel this is His music, anyway. All we can say is "Thank You Lord". And thirdly, we had a photo shoot by Professional, J. Reed Photography. We've been needing this done since we became a duet. Our friend, Jimmy Reed called and wanted to bless us with this new photo session. What a blessing it was. THEN when we picked up our CD of photos, he treated us to supper. WOW. God's people are so good. Thanks Jimmy, you'll never know what it means for someone like you, in this business, to believe in us. We love you! Ever felt like when it rained, it poured? I felt that way lately when my copier went on the blink. I have a printer for the computer, but the little copier I was using won't copy anything now. So, I'm praying for another copier. Anyone have one for sale for a good price, or know of a good brand I could try? Also, we are still needing our rear springs fixed on the car as well as new tires . BUT, we sure love the gas saving car we have now. It's only around $70.00 to fill up each time instead of $200.00 plus on that diesel we had. We miss the RV bad except at the fuel pump!!!!! By the way, thanks to you who have increased your monthly support to help out with higher gas prices. The cost of living seems to be on the rise. Just think, in heaven, no more worry over bills! |

We sure enjoyed the visit from our baby sis, Tonya and her family. They came down from AL for Mother's Day and stayed a week. Mom loves it when her children visit and she bought a watermelon for us all to share. Oh yea. FUNNY STORY. Mom and I work several hours a day in the garden. It's hard, hot work, but we love the fresh produce. Angie stays inside where it's cool, working in the office and doesn't come out in the heat very often. This watermelon day, after she ate, she pitched her seeds onto the garden. In the exact place where we've planted beans, squash, flowers, more beans, peas, more beans, and other various sundry things, ANGIE'S LITTLE WATERMELON SEEDS SPROUTED UP ALMOST OVER NIGHT. I've thought about calling her Jack, but she doesn't fit the bean-stalk prototype! We sang at Sulphur Bluff A/G's new church. It's beautiful. We had an awesome service & they blessed us with a song "I'll pray my way out". After church, the Reed family took us to the gas station and filled our tank with fuel. WOW, that's as much as some of our offerings. So, thank you to this special family. May God repay you 100 times. We never want to forget our monthly supporters. You take so much pressure off us each month, and you'll never know how timely your gifts of support are. We pray for each of you, for God to bless your finances and your families. We had ask Momma Jenkins to dedicate/bless our new CD before it's release. She did, but took it one step further and took it to church. Our brother in law, Rev. Shannon McDonald was visiting and she ask him & the pastor, Rev. Robert Sheffield to pray for God's blessing on our CD. BIG thanks go to them!
