Angie has a Birthday-November 17th.

Happy Birthday  MS Angie.  Happy BD to yoooooooooooooooooou.

I can’t tell you how old she will be (if I want to live, that is!) but I can tell you it’s a BIG one.   Angie Jenkins is our manager, Boss, lead/soprano singer, navigator, secretary/treasurer, road manager, thank you card writer, proof reader for the newsletter, booking agent, COOK, bill payer, and Prayer Warrior.  That’s just the beginning.  A typical day in her life starts around 7:30-8:30, depending on how late we got in last night, and begins work immediately in her office.  I get up around 8:30-9:00 and plug up the coffee pot.

We drink coffee, read our bibles and have devotions.  During this time, she frequently gets calls or texts from the family and others.  (She’s the care taker of the family).

She gets dressed and has her prayer closet time.  If  she has time, she walks on the treadmill.  Back in the office to make/answer calls, send emails, trying to organize a tour.  Around 12:00 she puts the office on hold and fixes lunch, which is a full blown meal.  She cooks for me, her, Nanci (our visitor from AZ) and Mom, who comes over 2 X a day to eat.  Mom loves to bring a dish or two as well.  After we eat, Angie makes up the “leftover's” in covered dishes for several other people  including Granny & Grandad Gregg, our sis Judy, who is trying to go to college and make a new start, and sometimes our single pastor, Bro. Dathen Wedel.  Everyone loves her leftover's.

She’s back in the office to work until around 5:00, when we try to take a coffee break and sometimes Mom and I can persuade her to come outside with us for a few min.  Back to the office, unless she has to run to the bank or grocery store.  We live in the country so this takes a while.  Most of the time she has a load of laundry going as well.

Back in the office until supper time,  she cooks another delicious meal.  Back in the office until around 9 or 10:00, and she’ll finally take a bath and comes to sit & watch the news, America’s Funniest Home Videos, or American Idol.  Finally around 12:30 or 1:00 she’ll go to bed.  All that’s when we are home the few days between tours.

During the winter she supplements our income with home made Christmas goodies, home made hot sauce, home made burritos and other items.  She also finds time to help me in our store called “Lil Bit of This and That”, a used “antique/thrift store”. It’s our new venture in Brent’s old apartment.

WOW.  With all that, I think she needs a raise!

Oh wait, she doesn’t get paid!  O dear, she must love Gospel Music a lot to quit a good job at the bank and do all this full time work without a personal income.  I think God is keeping good records Ms Angie.  We all say thanks for your gifts you share everywhere with everyone.

We love you, Angie!

Missouri Tour a “sole” experience

We left Friday around 3:00 and drove to Joplin. MO praising God the whole way for helping us get the RV out of the shop.  At first they said it would cost 1500-2000 to fix the converter.  After tearing into it, there wasn’t as much wrong, so they said $400.00.  We, by faith, told them to go ahead and fix it.  It had to be fixed, but we didn’t have the money.  They gave us a discount and a check came in the mail so off we headed.

It was cold but we loved it!

We sang for 85 year old Sis Plunkett,   and had a wonderful service, including a mid-service interruption!  We love it when God moves.  A young man came and prayed! WOW.  A highlight.

That night, Sun PM we sang for Bro. Centers in Maplewood, MO again.  He sang “He Touched Me” with us.  Beautiful voice.  They fed us and we plugged up the RV there .  Sis Mary took us all around town to take care of errands.  It’s hard to get the RV through the bank drive through!  LOL.

We came back by Hendrix’s & spent the night.  Rhonda was carving a “PumpQueen” for a contest, which won! She treated us to lunch.

We are so excited about our new CD #20.  We have been showcasing some of the songs during the concerts and asking what people think.  All the comments have been positive.  I mentioned in the last newsletter we were praying about where to record this one and I got an exciting response from “Eternal Vision” who owns a studio in TN.  They have offered to record our vocals free of charge!  Isn’t that great?  They said they have a RV hook up and everything right there.  WOW.  Can’t wait to get started.  We also sold our first Pre-Pay for $15.00 to none other than sweet Betty Snow.  She will get one of the CD’s first.  Order yours today!

We made another small payment on the RV principal because of “Under God”  CD sales.  Praise the Lord!

If someone walks in the room and they are gorgeous, they are pretty to look at. But if someone is giving of their spirit and they make you laugh and feel good, that’s a whole other level of beauty.  - Quote from  Drew Barrymore

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! We are so thankful for such sweet people in our lives.  God must really love us.

Oklahoma Campout for Mom’s 80 BD Successful

Mom was all smiles at her official 80th  birthday celebration in Oklahoma at our cousin’s cabin.  Around 75 showed up and around 38 ATV’s were brought.

We parked the RV close to the cabin and Mom stayed with us, along with Judy.

The Kendrick girls and their families hosted a wonderful get together  for everyone.  They got Mom  a cake and had a money tree. Old friends drove in and most of the family made a special effort  to attend.

We cooked around the camp fire, and inside the cabin.  We ate smoked meat, seafood, fried chicken (Mom’s favorite), breakfast every morning, snacks all day long, burritos, soups, and home made desserts flew around all day long.  It flooded 6” the first day, so Judy had trouble getting Mom there, but it made great mud for the ATV’s to play in!

Thank God, Mom is still with us.

An up date on the RV.  We got the converter fixed for much less than they originally told us.  Thanks for all you who are on the mailing list with jenkinsandcompany-subscribe@myInJesus.com because you helped pray that through.

But, we put it in the shop to get an estimate for the Emergency brake and the parking brake.  It’s gonna cost $1330.50 if the Lord don’t intervene again.  So, we told them today unless we get a miracle before 1:00, go ahead and put it back together (estimate is costing us around $250.00) and we’ll drive it until the Lord does supply the need.  We’ll just jump out each stop and put “chocks” under the wheels to keep it from rolling into the car ahead or behind.  It still go much better than trying to travel in a small 2 door car that needs new tires, back shocks are broken so you bounce along and carry road kill with you, that we are still thanking the Lord every day for the RV.  But LIFE just happens and I did leave the brake engaged the 2nd day we got the RV.  I take the blame for that.  But since our blow out is when all these problems started happening.  So if by some chance the inspector for the insurance company will ok it, they will pay for it.  We just need that miracle to happen.  I had a good prayer this am for our needs, and I prayed all day long yesterday for you all, as I typed the newsletter, ran the envelopes with your names, etc.

We stopped at a Choc factory, Puddin Hill and the Doll house and Carosel were beautiful.

David Patillo did a great concert and it was a pleasure to sing with him.
Our neice, Heather, looked so cute in her Hat.
Rhonda won with her PUMPQUEEN.
We took Nanci to the Stockyards during her 2 week visit.
Sis Luella Plunkett was 85 and still very active.
Sis Mary Centers and Angie love to visit!

We love you all!
