Studio time was great! Chip did a great job at encouraging us to sing our best, correcting the notes that needed it and praying with us.  What a difference a Christian atmosphere makes.  We got 5 songs almost completed.  Just need to add the 3rd vocal on there.  We are praying about the last 3 songs.  One or two will be with Rhonda, and make it an original Jenkins Sisters sound.  The other 2 guest vocalist needs to add their vocals, and then those will be ready for us to record.  It’s a long WONDERFUL process and I love it. I think this CD will be the best we’ve done as a duet.  The new music and songs make it exciting.  You can prepay for your copy and will get one first, after the Sponsors.  No charge on the shipping when you prepay.

Our Sponsors for this project are: Loretta Vavalis. Our prepays are: Deb Wilson and Betty Snow.  Have I forgotten anyone?  Sorry, I’m over 50 now, so I have an excuse!
Our other Faithful Partners are:

  • Stoltzfus Family
  • Bambers
  • Luella Plunkett
  • Momma Jenkins
  • Ken Stanley
  • Brent Gregg
  • Betty Snow
  • Deb Wilson
  • George/Imogene Gregg

I try to pray for each and every one of you.  You are so important to this Ministry!

Thanks to Jacksonville AG for the wonderful Mother’s Day celebration.  They fed us twice, gave us a bag of water and juice and a big basket of goodies.  Such sweet fellowship with this beautiful family.  The Eddy’s are special people.  But most of all, God showed up and did something more special.  A young man got saved and others prayed in the altar!

Happy Belated Mother’s Day

Our Mother is a lil Fire Cracker.  She, at 80 years old, still gets around good.  She tends to her chickens and was out shooting at some predator last week, when they tried to kill one of them.  She also borrowed my chain saw to cut up some branches that had blown down.  She rides her ATV around, hauling food and other items back and forth.  She gets in contact with her “young-uns” by text and email!  She’s still writing on her book, on the computer. We love You Mom and think you’re the Best Mommy Ever.

Where we been lately……..

Gospel Lighthouse PCG, where Sis Patton pastored, was good.  Linda Loter treated us to K-Bob’s and we enjoyed visiting with her. Pastor Tim McGough in Oklahoma and folks there treated us good.  Roy had worn out our CD and had to buy another one.  It literally had a hole in it.  We enjoyed being with the “Cheeseburger” Pastor at FBC Pottsboro, TX. It rained hard.  Matter of fact, this trip we had lots of wind, rain and 2 tornados touch down.  That night we were with Bro Harvey at Luella BC, the church who came to our rescue when our house burned.  These folks are special to us.  We left for our trip Thursday, after eating Mom’s breakfast she fixed for us and drove to Hendrix RV Park. Rhonda had made fried chicken and home made biscuits.  MMMM. We like that RV place.  Comes with dinner!

Our hot water heater was leaking and we were told we may have to get a new one at $400.00.  We went to prayer and ask our faithful prayer warriors to pray.  It was a loose bolt, cost $40, and we were on our way!  God knows to take good care of us.

Rhonda and the kids treated us to Sushi/Chinese food the next day.  Another good note… I got the lawn mower fixed for less than $100.00.  It works great.

We arrived at Cornerstone Tab in plenty of time to set up and sing.  Tim & Linda gave us a home made “Ooey Gooey Butter cake” that is out of this world delicious.  A lady made us some sweet rose corsages, so we want to go back to MO!  But, the best part, we had at least 5 come down for prayer.

When we left, they gave us their phone numbers and said call if we had any trouble.  Thank the Lord for sweet friends who look out for us.

We were in Pocahontas Sunday and they fed us good and sent left overs as well as nice T-shirts.  We had a good service.  We sang “Please Forgive Me” and the Lord moved.

That night we sang at Jacksonport BC and loved the people there.    A lady made us some wonderful cookies and we had at least 4 come down for prayer.  PTL!

This church has baptized 72 so far this year, most of which are prisoners.  They have a wonderful Prison Ministry.   The church is at the entrance of a State Park, so we hooked up there. The next AM, pastor had let a lady listen to “Prayer Warriors” and she looked us up to buy a CD.  Made us feel like our music is making a difference.

We left there and because we didn’t have a Wed night booked, we camped out at Petit Jean State park.  God gave us 3 beautiful days there with perfect weather.  We practiced for our studio recordings, Angie made calls and worked on our Singing Agenda, and we cooked twice  a day, and sat by the fire at night, because it got cold.  We played games and got some R & R, and thanked God every day for our RV.

Sun we were back to work, singing at Subiaco Worship Ctr. An 83 year old lady taught Sunday school. WOW.

Sun PM we drove to Lakeview PCG and had a grand time at this church.  They got us hook ups at the Police Headquarters, where we felt safe!  They came and got us and our equipment, loaded, unloaded for us, fed us, and we had sweet fellowship.

I met an RV owner who answered my questions and gave me their phone # to call if I had any more.  Angie Michelle fixed Angie & me some new hair do’s, which we loved.

One little 4 year old listened to me introduce Angie as the “smart sister”.  Later I was testifying and she told her Nana “Nana, I like the dumb sister!”  We got so tickled.   Oh yea… ask Angie about loosing her slip at Wal-Mart!  HeeHee.

The "Cheeseburger" pastor.  He told me one time he was on a diet, a cheeseburger diet!  I loved it.  He is the pastor of FBC at Pottsboro, TX.
Our nephew Kyle caught several bass out of the pond close by.
Beautiful Eddy family treated us so good, with a good basket, bottles of water and juice.
Mom's new do for Mother's Day.
Granny & Grandad Gregg are special to us.
Judy & us treated Mom to Red Lobster for Mother's Day.  Actually, Judy wound up paying for ours too, so thanks to sis #2!
Angie getting into her work at Rhonda's house.
Baptist Church at Jacksonport, AR.  Sweet people.
Rhonda treated us to Sushi
2 tornadoes were sited and sirens were going off. Scary!
Jacksonport State Park
Jacksonport St Park museum
Angie fixed Angie a "messy bun"
Brand new RV park. Primitive
Petit Jean State park where we spent 3 beautiful days.
We played games, practised for our new CD, and Angie worked on the calander at the Petit Jean St Pk.
We cooked 2 meals a day. Well, ok, Angie cooked, I washed dishes and tended the fire.  It was cold and the campfire felt good.  Nothing like campfire coffee.
We love our RV!  Can you tell?  Holly has been a huge blessing.
A beautiful rose growning at Subiaco PCG
Bro. Schlinker's church had a lot of young people and they sang for us. We celebrated a lil girl's 2nd BD.  She had a lover transplant the year before and she is a miracle baby.
The 4 year old who said she like the "dumb" sister and the 2 year old miracle baby.
Tim & Linda Rutherford baked us a "Ooey gooey butter cake!" Delicious!!
Chip, our engineer at S.M.A.R.T. Studios in Texarkana, TX.  Georgeous studio and he did a great job of getting us to sing our best.  A sweet prayer before we started sure helped! He gave us a great rate as well.

Lova ya,

Nella and Angie Jenkins
